Tony Pietropaula, a native of Beaumont, initiated his wrestling career at Beaumont High School, culminating in a notable high-school tenure marked by securing two CIF championships, state qualification, and a top-16 finish at the 2009 NHSCA High School Nationals. Recognized for both academic and athletic prowess, he earned a spot in Cal State Bakersfield’s Division 1 program. There, he compiled an impressive 20-5 record. Presently, Pietropaula, now a purple belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, dedicates himself to training at Gracie Humaita Beaumont while also serving as an instructor for the kids’ wrestling program, imparting expertise in folkstyle and freestyle wrestling.
